Mr. Muhamad Nakhaie Bin Ishak, a Perakian, graduated with an honours degree of Laws from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2006, and later in the year 2007 with honours degree in Shariah Law at the same university.
He then read in chamber at this esteemed firm under the guidance of Dr. Mohd Johan Lee himself, who had exposed him to various types of litigation and Shariah matters.
He was then admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 4th April 2008.
He is retained by the firm and later on was offered to be one of the partners of the firm.
He is the head of the litigation department of the firm handling litigation related matters.
As the firm’s main business is involving Islamic banking matters, Mr. Nakhaie has vide experience and knowledge in Islamic banking matters namely.
He is well trained in the aspect civil and shariah laws.
Mr. Nakhaie has been handling the litigation matters in respect of Islamic banking matters for major Islamic banks in Malaysia.
He appears before the High Court of Malaya for trial and appeal matters and also appears before the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.
Recently Mr. Nakhaie together with Dr. Mohd Johan Lee appears before the Federal Court as counsel for Association of Islamic Banking Malaysia (AIBIM) in a case involving a Malay Reserve Land, charged to a financial institution.
Having experience in handling Islamic banking matters and knowledgeable in the shariah laws, the firm is the main panel solicitors for Bank Simpanan Nasional for their recovery department.
He is also a sharie lawyer, handling Shariah related matters in Shariah court. Mr. Nakhaie is also appears as sharie counsel for Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan in matters related to Islamic laws such as faraid matters, distribution of property involving asnafs and muallafs. Mr. Muhamad Nakhaie also has delivered various talks on recovery and civil action proceedings to few banks.
Mrs. Wan Nurul Amellin Binti Wan Mud, a Kelantanese, graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia with an LLB (Hons.) in 2008 and LLB Shariah (Hons.) in 2009.
She also holds certificate in Company Administration (Cica) from the same University. She joined J. Lee & Associates in October 2009 as a pupil.
She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 6th August 2010.
Since then she has been commencing her practice at the firm’s Kuala Terengganu Branch specialising in general and banking litigation and debt recovery along with conveyancing matters and probate and inheritance.
She has also been largely involved with Syariah matters in particular Faraid (Inheritance), Hibah and Wasiat.
She was elected as the Honourable Secretary and the Civil Committee of the Terengganu State Bar Committee 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 respectively.
Mr. Waqiyuddin Na’imullah, a Kelantanese, graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and he holds an honours degree in LLB in year 2011.
Upon graduation he chambered in J. Lee & Associates in Kuala Lumpur for nine (9) months which had exposed him to various types of conveyancing and litigation works.
He was later admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 3rd May 2012 and was offered a place for practice at J. Lee & Associates in Kuala Lumpur on 1st Jun 2012.
Apart from his regular portfolio of handling conveyancing and litigation matters, he is actively assisting Dr. Mohd Johan Lee in corporate matters such as corporate conveyancing, product structuring and product compliance.
Mr. Kashfullah Bin Musa, a Perakian, graduated from National University of Malaysia (UKM) with an honours degree in LLB in year 2003.
Upon graduation he has worked with few prominent law firms in the nation with more than a decade of experiences and had exposed him to practical aspects of various type of disciplines of laws including but not limited to heavyweight corporate dealings, merger and acquisition of the year, development of waqaf land, establishment of Labuan international waqaf foundation, Islamic financing and drafting, banking & finance, conveyancing, civil litigation and immigration.
He then joined this Firm in 2012 to build up his experience in Islamic finance. He has assisted our Dr. Mohd Johan Lee in numerous drafting exercises in relation to Islamic finance. He had also been exposed to practical aspects in handling of the Firm’s management and administration, the Firm’s human resource and the Firm’s accounting.
He chambered in J. Lee & Associates in Kuala Lumpur for nine (9) months and was later admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 20th September 2016 and was offered a place for practice at J. Lee & Associates in Kuala Lumpur from 1st October 2016 until 31st December 2016.
From 1st January 2017 onwards, he will assist our Northern Region Branch in Pusat Bandar Seberang Jaya, Penang.
Samihah Binti Mohd Yusuff, a Perakian, graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with an honours degree in LLB in year 2013.
She served her pupillage period with one of legal firms in Penang and during that pupillage period, she was exposed to various conveyancing procedures especially in handling projects involving developer.
She was later admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 28th Mac 2014 and later joined J. Lee & Associates in 2nd May 2014.
As a legal assistant, she is now handling various types of litigation matters such as general litigations and banking litigations as well as conveyancing matters.
She is currently assisting our Northern Region Branch in Penang.
Mrs. Faten Nabila Binti Mohamad Fadzil, a Kedahan, graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with an honour degree of LLB in 2016.
She served her pupillage period with one of legal firms in Perlis before she was called to the Bar on 21st April 2017.
She was fortunate to be exposed and has gained valuable experience in both conveyancing and litigation areas particularly in civil litigation matters.
She was then offered a place for practice at J. Lee & Associates in our Northern Region Branch, Penang from 1st July 2017 onwards.
Mrs. Nurun Nadia Binti, a Malaccans, Mohamad graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with an honour degree of LLB in 2012.
She was read in chamber at one of the legal firms in Kuala Lumpur and was called to the Bar and enrolled as advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 9th May, 2014.
She has completed her Master Degree in Islamic Law of Banking and Finance from IIUM Crescent in 2016.
She is currently assisting Dr. Mohd Johan Lee in corporate related matters and in the midst of continuing her studies in PhD particularly in Islamic Banking and Finance.
Ms. Vanessa Jawa, a Sarawakian, graduated from University of Malaya (UM) with an honours degree in LLB in year 2016.
Upon graduation, she chambered in J. Lee & Associates in Kuala Lumpur for nine (9) months which had exposed her to various types of litigation and corporate works.
She was later admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 29th September 2017 and was offered a place for practice at J. Lee & Associates in Kuala Lumpur on 29th September 2017.

Ms. Nur Shifa Aqilah Binti Muhamad Rahim, a Terengganuian, graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with an honours degree in LLB in year 2017.

Mr. Izzat Emir Hakimi Bin Jasme, a Kelantanese, graduated from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) with an honours degree in LLB in year 2017.
